Introducing a brand NEW design in my @spoonflower shop: Wild Turkeys!!! Available in 2 colorways! I created this pattern for no other reason then I liked my turkey illustration and thought it would be fun to have a pattern. I have no idea if there is a demand for turkey designs or not! Ha ha! #spoonflower #fabric #wallpaper
This morning I randomly saw that today is National Flamingo Day !?!? (Seriously, there is a day for EVERYTHING now). Thought it was a good excuse to do a little #throwbackthursday to this @spoonflower design challenge entry from way long ago... Flamingos and Flowers! Part of my Floridian Collection. I never added any additional colorways of this or as many coordinates as I intended... maybe I need to revisit this collection! In the meantime, I am going to be adding a brand new bird design to my shop very soon! (hopefully tomorrow) Anyone want to guess what type of bird it will be? #spoonflower #fabric #wallpaper
Excited to finally share the special zippered pouch I made my niece with two of the Dreamy colorway designs from my Playtime Tea Party Collection! This was intended to be a "pencil" case and was surprisingly hard to photograph so please overlook the lackluster quality to the photos! I used the #openwidezipperedpouch again by @noodlehead531 but shortened the height a lot. I like this pattern because like the name suggests when unzipped it opens nice and wide. And at these proportions it can sit flat on the table, wide open and be "bin-like" when she is using it! In hindsight I could have made it one size narrower (This uses a 14" zipper). And speaking of zippers... How cute is this two-toned cutie with a fun round zip pull! I got a big bag for a great price so I will be using them more in the future! Outside pattern is Playtime Roses, Inside is Heart dots. Both can be found in my @spoonflower shop. Printed on Cotton Poplin. #spoonflower #spoonflowered #fabric
In honor of the first day of Summer! My Geometric Watermelon pattern available in my @spoonflower shop in 2 different colorways! You may know that I actually HATE summer. Worst season! So I am not celebrating that is officially summer... but I am happy that today starts the days slowly getting shorter! (shorter day = less sun = less hot). AND with each day we will be closer to Autumn, my favorite season! I might not like summer but I LOVE watermelon. Especially on hot days! Truly a seasonal treat! #spoonflower #fabric #wallpaper
A look at all 10 Playtime Tea Party designs, Dreamy colorway! All shown at the same scale so you can see how they pair together. So many fun mix and match options! Find them all in my @spoonflower shop (link in my profile). #spoonflower #fabric #wallpaper
I saved the best for last!!! It is a NEW pattern I added to the Playtime Tea Party Collection: Playtime Roses... in both collection colorways but this Dreamy one is my favorite! This design has a very special background story. As I have shared this collection was inspired by my niece. Once it was completed I showed her a look at all the designs. She liked them but was disappointed there were no roses. Why? Because her middle name is Rose and she thought the collection should have them! (So cute.) Problem is... I am bad at drawing roses (or so I thought) and told my (then 6 year old) niece this. She was not phased. She immediately got paper and showed me how EASY it was to draw a rose! HA HA! How could I refute that?!? Inspired by her enthusiasm I went to work creating THIS pattern! And I LOVE IT! And I used it in the project I sewed my niece which I will be sharing photos of soon! #spoonflower #fabric #wallpaper
