Hello! I’m Brenda, a surface pattern designer and illustrator. As an avid sewist I have a particular interest in fabric design. You will find many of my original fabric designs and sewing creations here on my website.
My signature style features bold colors, crisp lines and interesting hatches. With a fondness for doodling and a background in architecture I approach my designs with both whimsy and order to create a unique aesthetic. I invite you to explore my blog and online portfolio to see examples of my work and learn more about me as an artist and my process.
If you interested in licensing any of my designs or commissioning me for new design work in print medias and surface design, I can be contacted via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
You can shop for fabric, gift wrap, and wallpaper featuring my surface patterns in my online Spoonflower Shop.
More about me and my style:
My original BdoodleZ card line has been sold online and locally and features my unique design style: imaginative illustrations that blend whimsy, doodles and fine linework.
I have a Masters of Architecture and worked in the field for over 10 years. My background in Architecture has trained me in problem solving and given me great experience in creative design.
I love traditional prints, especially etchings, and studied traditional printmaking during graduate school.
